What happens next?

We expect to submit the planning application to the City of Doncaster Council in January 2027. Once it has been submitted, the council will publish the application documents on its planning portal and hold a formal consultation, giving anyone the opportunity to comment on the proposals. We will also provide a link to the application documents on this website. We hope the application will be determined in late 2027.

If planning permission is granted in late 2027, we would expect construction to begin in 2028 and the service area to open in 2029.
